AFTER THE SILENCE SPRING RETURNS

Rose has been a victim of domestic abuse for many years. She hides her daily ordeal from everyone, and bravely faces the torment through love for her children. Born into a Franco-Italian family, respect for traditions and moral values have been drilled into her from birth.

However, when she turns 16, the death of her father leaves her with a bitter feeling of abandonment. Consequently, she begins a quest for lost love, that precious bond, so strong and constant, that binds two people together, but which will lead her into an inescapable hell. Weakened and blinded by the perpetual pursuit of unconditional love, she falls into the trap of a manipulator, who will exploit her still gaping wound in order to dominate her and control her like a puppet.

This novel describes the process of submission into which Rose gradually and inadvertently falls, in the name of love and at the risk of death…
